Swanson Center for Youth set to Host Career Fair
Baton Rouge, La.The Louisiana Office of Juvenile Justice (OJJ) Swanson Center for Youth at Monroe is set to host a Career Fair, Saturday, June 25th from 9:00am – 2:00pm at 4701 South Grand St., in Monroe, Louisiana. OJJ has immediate openings for Juvenile Justice Specialist, Corrections Officers, Social Service Counselors, Corrections Food Production Workers, Instructors, and Probation and Parole Officers. The positions offer state employee benefits, and retirement plans.

- Juvenile Justice Specialist (JJS) – “frontline” staff responsible for direct care, safety and therapeutic supervision of youth in our secure care facilities.
- Probation and Parole Officer (PPO) – community-based staff who assist youth and families in navigating the juvenile justice system.
Employees are located in our secure care facilities, regional offices, and central office. Our positions offer structured career progression opportunities. Employees can earn up to a 10 percent increase in base pay, after obtaining a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree that can enhance current job duties.
