OJJ is Hiring for Immediate Openings at Facilities Across the State
Baton Rouge, La.The Louisiana Office of Juvenile Justice (OJJ) has immediate openings for Administrative Coordinators, Corrections Juvenile Food Production Workers, Criminal Investigators, Instructors, Juvenile Justice Specialist, Security Officers, Social Service Counselors, Social Workers, and Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. OJJ key staff positions include:
Juvenile Justice Specialist (JJS) – “frontline” staff responsible for direct care, safety and therapeutic supervision of youth in our secure care facilities.
Probation and Parole Officer (PPO) – community-based staff who assist youth and families in navigating the juvenile justice system.
Employees are located in our secure care facilities, regional offices, and central office. Our positions offer structured career progression opportunities. Employees can earn up to a 10 percent increase in base pay, after obtaining a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree that can enhance current job duties.
