Baton Rouge, La.The Louisiana Office of Juvenile Justice (OJJ) has immediate openings for Juvenile Justice Specialist, Corrections Officers, Social Service Counselors, Corrections Food Production Workers, Instructors, Probation and Parole Officers, and Nurses. - Juvenile Justice Specialist (JJS) – “frontline” staff responsible for direct care, safety and therapeutic supervision of youth in our secure care facilities.
- Probation and Parole Officer (PPO) – community-based staff who assist youth and families in navigating the juvenile justice system.
Employees are located in our secure care facilities, regional offices, and central office. Our positions offer structured career progression opportunities. Employees can earn up to a 10 percent increase in base pay, after obtaining a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree that can enhance current job duties.
