Today, the Juvenile Justice Reform Act Implementation Commission (JJRAIC) held its grantee kickoff meeting cohosted by Office of Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) Administrator Liz Ryan, Southern University Law Center (SULC) Chancellor John Pierre, and State Senator Royce Duplessis.   

During the kickoff meeting, OJJDP Administrator Liz Ryan announced a strategic investment of $250,000 granted to the Southern University Law Center to assist JJRAIC in its mission of impacting the broader juvenile justice reform efforts in Louisiana.
