Employees are based in our secure care facilities, regional offices and central office. Many of OJJ’s positions offer structure career progression opportunities. Key staff at OJJ include:
- Juvenile Justice Specialist (JJS) – “frontline” staff responsible for direct care, safety and therapeutic supervision of youth in our secure care facilities.
- Probation and Parole Officer (PPO) – community-based staff who assist youth and families in navigating the juvenile justice system.
