OJJ Releases New Strategic Plan

01/14/2010

OJJ’s Strategic Plan 2010-2012, as required by the Legislature, has been submitted to JJIC and will serve as a working document for our agency.   It builds upon the strategies and initiatives set forth in our 2005 Strategic Plan, known internally as “The Blue Book.”

Every office within OJJ participated in development of the plan and contributed to the document.  The plan was created with the assistance of District Attorneys, juvenile judges, community providers, parents, youth, staff and other stakeholders.

The Strategic Plan is an important tool for each member of the OJJ staff in every office and facility.  It serves as the roadmap for the work we do every day, toward accomplishing the goals and objectives required by the legislation that sets out our mission.

The Strategic Plan has been posted on the website.
